From the original owner, this
red petal cloche silk Commuter
Set Hat is gorgeous -- very fluffy and
vibrant. It has been in storage since
the 1960's and has never been traded in the
vintage Barbie community.
As you can see in the photos, there are
some frays as
well as some
discoloration on the bottom of the band and
at the ends of a few petals, which are more
noticeable in the magnified photo. I
think the band discoloration is possibly
where the hat attached to the card.
But the band is still
bendable and works as it should to attach to
Barbie's head. The
form of the hat and how it falls is exceptional. Better than most
that you'll see.
